Aloha, welcome to my website <3
My name is Mudra Love, and I’m so happy you found your way here.
I’m a passionate creative with a multimedia background in journalism, writing, storytelling, marketing, and content creation. I also teach meditation and yoga.
I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, and grew up surrounded by Buddhist traditions. I have vivid memories of monks and lamas performing prayers and pujas on our living room floor. My father, a former monk in the Chan/Zen tradition and a longtime Vajrayana practitioner, introduced me to meditation when I was sixteen, teaching me a simple shamatha practice.
Over the years, my relationship with meditation has continued to evolve. After becoming a mother, I found it increasingly important to understand how to regulate my nervous system and cultivate greater presence and self-compassion. Programs such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) have strengthened and deepened my practice, while also shaping the way I share mindfulness with others.
These days, I’ve partnered with a dear friend to explore the intersection of meditation and tea, creating contemplative experiences that invite us to slow down, reconnect, and simply be. You can find our current offerings here
You can also learn more about my story in my book, Monk’s Daughter.
Thank you for visiting!
